The WW1 group is a small band of locals who are working to gather information about those from the Parish who fell in the Great War and what life was like during that time. We first gathered in the Spring of 2014 and by August we were able to put a display up in the Lady Chapel of the Parish Church showing some information of each of the young men who sacrificed their lives and where possible photographs of them. The aim was to make them real and not just names on a plaque.
